Bi-Vocational Youth Minister
New Life Baptist Church in Centreville, AL is looking for a bi-vocational Youth Minister.
The youth minister is responsible for leading the church in developing and maintaining a comprehensive youth ministry. The Youth Minister shall serve as a role model for the Body of Christ (especially our youth) embracing and exercising those qualities described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
Qualifications:
- A born again Christian and witness for Christ
- A reputation of being a spiritually mature individual who demonstrates an exemplary Christian testimony in his/her life
- Ability to teach and preach the Word of God
- Called into the ministry
- Ordained or desire to be ordained
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and relate to youth & families.
- Must be a dynamic teacher (able to teach doctrine of the Baptist faith, fundamental
- Christian values and how to apply these to life situations)
- Experience with coordinating events such as… retreats, mission trips and regional outings
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and lead the Youth program of New Life Baptist Church with the overall responsibility of leading our youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must be intentional about building relationships with youth & their families.
- Responsible for teaching Sunday School, Discipleship Training, and Wednesday night bible study for youth each week.
- Develop and plan activities to keep youth engaged.
- Prepare and administer the youth ministry budget.
- Develop programs to reach un-churched youth.
- Plan and oversee youth outings, mission trips, youth camps, retreats, fellowships, etc.
- Perform other ministerial duties as assigned to support the total work of New Life Baptist Church.

First Baptist Church West Blocton is looking for a Children's Minister. This position is to assist West Blocton First Baptist to maintain the core concept of teaching our children to love and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This will be fulfilled by providing a curriculum to teach and that will assist teachers in knowing what to teach and lessons that will show how to teach them during the Sund​ay and Wednesday Night for ages Pre-K through 7th Grade.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research Children’s Ministry curriculum resources for weekly rotation.

• Maintain and advise on Children’s Ministry Budget

 • Recruit volunteers for children’s church and other Weekly Rotation positions that are needed.

• Monthly planning for teacher rotation of each of the Children’s Ministry Positions which will include weekly lesson plans for teachers with supplies attach.

• Weekly Service Rotations: Teach the first Sunday of each month introducing the monthly Biblical theme.
 Teach weekly the Wednesday night class

• Assist with Vacation Bible School

• Planning of quarterly activities for Children’s Ministry. Ex: Easter, Christmas Programs

• Create and Maintain Children’s Ministry Calendar for Church and Church Website

• Additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Education:

• High School Diploma or Higher

• Degree from a Bible College (preferred / not required)
Experience:

• Experience working with Children K- 6th Grade

• Experience in leading a children’s Ministry (preferred / not required)
Other:

• Leadership Skills
• Organization Skills

• Must pass background check

• Passion for working with Children of various ages
